I LOVE airports!

Once you get past the headaches of parking, checking luggage, and security the vacation officially begins! First stop, find my gate. Second stop, find the closet restaurant, grab a cold Blue Moon, pull out my magazine, and let the people watching commence! Oh my gosh, I’m so excited just thinking about it!

There’s all sorts of great people watching to do in an airport, but my absolute favorite is the airport style watch.In my opinion, it’s a delicate balance between being too comfy or overly fancy. You definitely will not catch me wearing 4″ heels in the airport!

here are a few of my favorite {perfectly balanced} airport style looks:

key items? good boots or flats, a jacket or cardigan, and a scarf is a must!

in the spirit of keeping organized, here’s my packing list:

  • Sketchbook
  • Books {2} + some magazines {I plan on picking up some Italian and Dutch publications while there}
  • Camera
  • Headband {just in case hair’s entirely unruly when we land and it needs to go up in a pony}
  • Make-up
  • one outfit change

Generally, when I travel I try not to check any luggage but for this trip we’re planning on checking one bag between the two of us so we are less limited when bringing stuff back.

  • Hair Straightner + adapter
  • Walking/Hiking shoes
  • Flats {2} Sandals {1}
  • Jewelry
  • Clothes {currently working on exactly what, but I’m trying to make the most versatile + lightweight suitcase possible. for me, this isn’t easy.}


Now if I could only get my suitcase to look like and be as organized as this prettiness…
